About
Moyenda Anwisye, LPC
Moyenda Anwisye finds both great joy and great responsibility in holding the stories of others. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), his professional experiences include having served as a District Counselor in the Parkway School District for 16 years and currently serving as a private practice therapist and co-founder of Clear Journey Counseling and Professional Services, LLC since 2018.
He is a regular guest speaker for Education Plus’s Restorative Practices Academy. He also co-teaches a recurring restorative justice-based class within the St. Louis County Family Courts designed to assist young people who have been ‘caught up’ in the criminal justice system.
In addition, Moyenda’s journeys have taken him to Dallas, Texas where he introduced a restorative based parent empowerment group model to the 2024 Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action National Conference. He presented to the faculty from the Rabun County School District in Tiger, Georgia; and, most recently, taught stress reduction and emotional regulation to high school boys at the Jebali Conference, sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta
He has coached cross country and track at Parkway North High School since 2013. Mr. Anwisye and his wife have been married for 24 years and have 5 wonderful children.
